The Finance Project recently released Learning to Read: A Guide to Federal Funding for Grade-Level Reading Proficiency. We know that third grade reading proficiency is essential to student success in school and work. This guide catalogues and analyzes an array of federal funding streams that could be used to support your local efforts.

As we discuss in CSSP's recent brief, Guide to Successfully Preparing for Federal Grants, federal funding in is a significant source of support for local efforts and can be hugely beneficial in helping communities achieve, scale-up and sustain local work.
