Earlier this week, the Forum for Youth Investment announced an upcoming webinar that will discuss ways in which policies and funding streams at the federal, state, and local level can be better coordinated to achieve positive outcomes for young people. Entitled "Aligning Policies, Increasing Impact," the webinar promises to offer "concrete examples and specific policy language" from all levels of government in addition to strategies participants can use to improve policy alignment in their own work.

As we recently wrote in this blog post highlighting a chapter from CSSP's handbook "Making a Difference in Your Neighborhood: A Handbook for Using Community Decision-Making to Improve the Lives of Children, Youth, and Families," the influence of public policy is a significant strategy that communities can use to grow their impact and increase the sustainability of their change efforts over time.

The Forum for Youth Investment's webinar will take place on May 29 from 3:00-4:00pm (EDT). To register for this webinar, please visit their website here.
