PolicyLink and the Food and Agriculture Policy Collaborative have partnered to present a webinar titled “Healthy Food, Healthy Economies.” In many communities – particularly low-income urban and rural communities – residents have limited access to healthy food options, such as fruits and vegetables. Decades of research illustrates that there is a strong relationship between access to healthy foods and significant health issues, such as obesity. Addressing this struggle has the potential to improve the health and well-being of residents, as well as provide the jobs and economic growth that are essential to the revitalization of communities.

This webinar will explore how improving food security and access to healthy foods can strengthen communities and the well-being of its residents. Led by leading experts in the field of food and agriculture policy, this webinar will provide you with guidance on how to improve access to healthy foods in your own community.
