As part of the Partnership for Sustainable Communities, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is offering technical assistance to twenty communities on tools that support smart growth and sustainability. Through the Sustainable Communities Building Blocks Program, each community would receive consultation through a one-day workshop and recommendations for how the community can begin to advance their goals. To apply, EPA requests a two page letter of interest by February 23, 20011. Further details can be found here.
