- Assist both a large number of small and mid-size nonprofit organizations within a geographic service delivery area and demonstrate impact;
- Build the capacity of small and mid-size nonprofits to develop and implement performance management system;
- Provide assistance to organizations that provide services that align with the Corporation’s priority areas such as education, healthy futures, economic opportunity, disaster services; and
- Increase the capacity of a network of intermediaries committed to leveraging additional resources to assist small and mid-size nonprofits.
CNCS will grant up to 5 awards ranging from $200,000 to $998,000 over a two year period. Eligible applicants for NCBP grants include public and state controlled institutions of higher education, federally recognized tribes, and 501(c)(3) nonprofits. Intermediaries that can effectively demonstrate the ability to operate within a well-defined service area and establish strong relationships in the community are encouraged to apply.
