New Guide Focuses on Organizational Strategic Planning

Strategic planning involves articulating the results for which an organization will hold itself accountable and the actions it will take to get there. A new guide from the Bridgespan Group entitled Living Into Your Strategic Plan: A Guide to Implementation that Gets Results shares the experiences of Bridgespan clients’ as well as insights from other nonprofits that have effectively moved from planning to implementing a strategic plan. Conducting in-depth interviews with select leaders of these organizations, Bridgespan creates a six-step guide that identifies strategies and tools nonprofits can use to engage in an implementation process to achieve results. Community based organizations can use this guide to gain invaluable advice from peers in the field.
