In addition to supporting communities committed to the goals of Promise Neighborhoods, CSSP is also committed to being a resource for other neighborhood based community change efforts. For more than a decade, CSSP has helped communities make the decisions and investments needed to improve results for children and families.  Recently, the federal government has also began to focus on the need for neighborhood level and regional investments such as Choice Neighborhoods and Sustainable Communities.  As part of our efforts to ensure that communities have the resources they need to do this work, CSSP joins several national organizations in launching the National Neighborhood Alliance. The purpose of the Alliance is to build a larger movement to support comprehensive community development strategies that engage multiple stakeholders. The Alliance will provide a forum for interested organizations to meet and share information about organizational efforts to help improve results for communities of concentrated poverty.
