The Spotlight on Poverty and Opportunity has released “Spotlight on the States” – an interactive map tool that compiles data, research, news and policy information for each of the 50 states. The data for each state includes:
- State poverty data and statistics, including unemployment and information on housing
- State policy data, including a list of state taxes and asset-building policies and programs
- State-specific reports and news articles on poverty and opportunity
This resource is intended to provide up-to-date information for community residents, advocates, researchers and policymakers striving to improve the well-being of children and families in their states and communities.
