The Forum for Youth Investment is hosting a webinar on Performance Partnership Pilots for Disconnected Youth. These pilots—a provision created in the President’s Budget for Fiscal Year 2013—will allow states and communities to apply to use Federal funding from multiple different funding streams to create innovative solutions to improve outcomes for disconnected youth. This webinar will provide background information about this proposed initiative, as well as opportunities to provide input to the White House to help shape the initiative’s implementation.
Panelists include: Thaddeus Ferber, Vice President for Policy for the Forum for Youth Investment, who will present the context and rationale for policy alignment across federal, state and local agencies, as well as the work that led to the creation of the Performance Partnership Pilots; Elizabeth Gaines, Policy Director of the Forum for Youth Investment, who will discuss current collaborations and how those relationships informed the development of the Performance Partnership Pilots; and Kathy Stack from the White House Office of Management and Budget, who will discuss the Request for Information on Strategies for Improving Outcomes for Disconnected Youth, as well as what types of input the White House hopes to receive to help shape this initiative.
The webinar will take place June 27 at 2pm (EDT). For more information or to register, please click here.
